I’m going to tell something about them.

First of all, let’s have a look at the advantages. As I said above, high heel is a symbol of women. When you wear high heels, you will realize you are a woman more than any other second. It is the high heels that make you feel proud of being a woman. Have you ever noticed the women wearing high heels in the street? They walk more elegantly than ever. This is where the magic of high heels lie. In addition, high heels can help to shape women’s figures at the same time.

The original purpose of making high heels is to help the short. If you are an adult of displeased height and have no measures to make yourself grow a little bit, high heels help you right at this moment. With your high heels on, you will be not upset with your height any longer.

In terms of its disadvantages, firstly, high heels bring people beauty as well as inconvenience. You have to be very cautious while you are wearing high heels, otherwise, you may fall easily. Suppose some emergency happens, at least, you can’t run away with your high heels on.

In addition, some scientific researches have found that it is not healthy for people to wear high heels for a long time. High heels put your forefeet in a situation that they, rather than your whole feet palms, actually support most of the weight of one’s body. Your forefeet are overloading. What’s more, if you aren’t an adult, I mean if your feet bones are not grown enough, wearing high heels obsolutely will do harm to your feet. If the front-ends of high heels are so sharp that the shoes pinch you, you should give up putting them on, for the sake of your health.

To Protect Your Cell Phone – Be Alert in Public Places

August 27th, 2010

There are those people whose cell phones are just stolen one after another and I’m one of them. If my first phone, a Motorola one was stolen without that much grievances in the wake, then after my second one, Apple phone was stolen, I was really devastated not only because it stayed with me for only three weeks but also because it was for me as a birthday gift from my best friend. And since then, I really learned something about how to protect my cell phone and I’m glad and proud to tell you that my current phone has been with me for quite a long time.

If you know that many phones are stolen when people are boarding buses or other public vehicles, you know you should pay extra attention to your phone when taking a bus or train. Your phone is most likely to be lost in such confusion and keep hold on to your phone while on the bus. My first phone was FYI lost probably when I was boarding a bus. I didn’t know it until I wanted to check the time only that it was too late.

While on the road, you’d better keep an eye on your handbag especially so if your bag has shallow depth or it is easy to open. Even with a moment’s neglect, some seasoned pickpocket may have their way. The thing is, it could be a long time before you notice it and at that time the lifter may be already making a study of your phone.

And the advanced and effective way is phone secure or theft alert devices which are popular on the market nowadays. Some of them can sound an alarm when your phone is more than a certain distance away from you.

Whether you have some devices or are with your bare hands, you’d better keep an eye on your cell phone especially so when you are in public places. And in places with lots of people, remember to hold tightly onto your bag and check your phone once in a while.

It’s More Than a Purse

August 25th, 2010

I had never thought that I would own such a branded purse when I was only a high school student. I remember it was a nice day and I went shopping with my best friend Michel. We stopped when we passed by a chain store. We were fascinated by the purses and handbags in the shop window and were shocked by their prices. I could not help entering the store with an idea of fulfilling my greedy eyes, instead of buying any one of them. With the enthusiastic recommendation of the salesgirl, I selected a pink purse with a shining and exquisite diamond on the front. Unfortunately, I was too excited to hold it. The purse fell down from the topmost shelf. I stared at the diamond which was separated from the purse with my mouth open. I broke the purse. It was a tragicomedy that I owned the branded purse. However, it was the most extravagant purchase I had ever made. In the following days, Michel and I had to say goodbye to our favorite books, magazines and snacks because we had no spare pocket money.

“ Where is my diamond? ” I had called my purse “ diamond ” since then. “ Where did you put it? ” Michel asked me. I remembered I had put it in the right-hand drawer before I fell asleep. “ My god! I think someone has stolen it when we are dreaming. ” I said in a tone of certainty, because I found that we hadn’t locked the door and all desks in our dormitory were in a terrible mess. I kept searching my diamond until one day I noticed the bulletin board outside the dormitory building. On the board, it said someone had picked a pink purse and the description of it was so familiar to me. I dialed the telephone number according to the board without any delay.

It was a happy ending. I met my purse again although it was empty. The thief took away the money in the purse and threw it away beside a bin. I owed to his poor shooting the coming back of my purse. I made friends with Emma, the girl who returned my purse.

Now I have graduated from university. My purse has been with me for many years. It becomes a part of my life, for it is more than a purse.
